Gazprombank’s vice president, Putin’s ally and former KGB spy, was found dead in a luxury apartment in the Russian capital, Moscow, with his pregnant wife and daughter.
Vladislav Avayev was 51 years old, four years older than his wife. The banker’s daughter was only 13 years old.
The bodies were discovered by Avayev’s eldest daughter, 26-year-old Anastasia, according to a press release mirror alarmed the family driver, who was surprised when he knew nothing about the boss and that the door to the house had not been opened.
Russian authorities have already begun an investigation into suspected double murder and suicide, as Avayev had a pistol in his hand, three bodies were wounded and the doors of the apartment were locked inside.
According to the British newspaper, neighbors believe the family was in financial trouble as a result of the sanctions imposed on Russia as a result of the Ukrainian invasion.
The value of the apartment where the bodies were found is 2.4 million euros.
A successful Russian bomb in the construction industry would have already left Russia as one of Russia’s largest vice-chairmen of Gazprombank.
