Testing of the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 graphics cards has already begun

Nvidia is the world’s most popular graphics card manufacturer. And while rival AMD will continue to invest in this segment with its powerful products, most consumer choices are among the devices of the creator of the current RTX 30 Series.

However, we’ve already talked about some of the advances that have been made with the next-generation GeForce RTX 40 graphics processors. And according to the latest information, testing has already begun on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 are already being tested

The GeForce RTX 30 graphics card is the current generation of Nvidia, launched in September 2020. However, we know that Jensen Huang’s company is already focused on the next generation, namely the GeForce RTX 40, although this has not yet been officially announced. However, we also know that the new line is a reality that should be revealed later this year in 2022.

In addition, new information is now being revealed about the popular spill copier known in the hardware segment, which point that Nvidia is not only developing its new graphics cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture, but has also launched some of them with the new AD102 chip.

More specifically, this graphics chip should be used in the production of the GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090. Therefore, based on this information, it is estimated that these are the GPUs currently being tested by the North American manufacturer.

But apart from this information, which is also not from official sources, little or nothing is still known about Nvidia’s new products.

Other rumors refer to October 2022 as the possible release date for the new graphics cards. In addition, it was recently reported that the GeForce RTX 40 could consume more than 450 watts.
