AMD has recently unveiled the new Radeon RX 6400 graphics card, which is aimed primarily at cheaper computers. But one aspect that caught the attention of this GPU is its $ 159 price tag.
This is another draw from Lisa Sun to increase its range of consumer products.
The AMD Radeon RX 6400 GPU has arrived
As expected, AMD has now released another new graphics card to integrate into the current Radeon RX 6000 series, which is even lower than the previous base model, the Radeon RX 6500.
In Portugal, this new graphics card is already available for between € 193 and € 210.
This simplest GPU features a Navi 24 XL graphics chip made with a 6nm manufacturing process. It has 768 Stream processors with a base frequency of 2039 MHz and a Turbo 2321 MHz. The AMD Radeon RX 6400 has 4 GB of GDDR6 @ 14 Gbps memory capacity and a 64-bit memory interface with a bandwidth of 112 GB / s. In terms of power consumption, this is 53 W, and the chip is powered by the PCI-Express 4.0 x4 slot itself.
According to some tests already done, the new AMD graphics card should compete with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, although so far there isn’t much detail or real gaming benchmarks.
Despite the fact that the Radeon RX 6400 is now the most modest and powerful model of Lisa Sun’s current generation of graphics card, it will become a new option that can please many less demanding consumers with basic needs.
