Apple has released the second beta version of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 to the general public, which makes up its testing program. Without major changes, the update will refine previous additions to the Apple Pay Cash app, now with the “Request” and “Submit” buttons. There will also be experimental updates to tvOS 15.5 and watchOS 8.6.
There’s nothing significant about this experimental update for the iPhone, confirming that iOS 15.5 isn’t a huge release for the ecosystem. In addition to the new Apple Pay Cash buttons, there are more options for the Apple Card in the Wallet settings menu.
Another change to the iTunes Passport, now called the “Apple Account Card” in the Wallet app. The rebranding process was observed in the code changes released in the first beta.
Apple Classical still asleep
So far, there is no sign of Apple Classical. Seemingly complementary to traditional Apple Music, Classical is fully dedicated to playing classical music with special options and a unique interface.
The second beta of iOS 15.5 is still fresh, so testers can find more news. The additions to be found in the coming days have yet to be kept in mind.
