A group of researchers has found that HDL cholesterol particles (informally “good cholesterol”) can help protect against Alzheimer’s disease.

The study was published in Alzheimer’s & Dementia on April 13th.

Research shows that plasma HDL particle levels may act as biomarkers to guide future disease prevention clinical trials and even help develop new therapeutic agents.
