Slimani: “No drinking or eating, but I’ve always practiced hard”

Crossed out by Ruben Amorim’s alternatives to the classic FC Porto for the Portuguese Cup, Islam Slimani left a comment on social media on Friday.

“Without drinking and eating, but I’ve always practiced hard for my club, and no one is taking it away from me,” the Algerian wrote.

It will be recalled that Slimani had not yet had an alternative to the game at Tondela this month. “Slimani didn’t do the final workout because we realize he wasn’t at the level required of a Sporting player,” Ruben Amorim explained after that meeting.

Now the Algerian attacker was again out of the account in the decisive game and Amorim was asked about the reasons for this new absence. “It was a technical option. Those who train better, play and are called, I don’t care. I can risk my job, qualifiers… That’s until you stop being a coach,” he said and then replied bluntly “no” when asked if there was anything happened.
