BALL – Former Tacconi goalkeeper in serious condition and poor prognosis (Juventus)

Italian football has experienced hours of great pain and anxiety due to Stefano Tacconi’s health condition.

The former goalkeeper, now 64, is fighting for his life in the neurosurgery ward at Alessandria Hospital in northwestern Italy with a poor prognosis after receiving an ischemic stroke.

Tacconi, who was on the national team seven times in Italy and defended Juventus ’goal from 1983 to 1992, was in the town of Asti after attending a charity event where he presented his biography.

The former guardian was ill and was taken to the nearest hospital.

After the first tests, the situation worsened and Tacconi was transferred to an Alessandria hospital where he is still in hospital with a poor prognosis.
