POCO is Xiaom’s brand aimed at a younger audience that has just announced the global launch of its new flagship, the POCO F4 GT gaming smartphone. Complementing the offer, the brand also includes Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition headphones and POCO Watch.
The smartphone features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor amplified with LiquidCool 3.0 cooling system to maintain device performance during long gaming sessions. It features an AMOLED flat screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and added magnetic buttons similar to the Black Shark 4S, another line dedicated to Chinese-branded video games. When not in use, the buttons can be set as hotkeys for quick access to other functions, such as the flashlight or image recording.

The smartphone also has an intelligent HyperCharge charging system capable of charging 120 W of energy to its 4,700 mAh battery. The symbol indicates that the system will fully charge the battery in 27 minutes. The AdaptiveCharge system prevents the battery from overcharging when left on overnight when it reaches 80-100% charge.
In addition to Qualcomm’s processor, the POCO F4 GT uses LPDDR5 RAM at 6,400 Mbps, which promises faster download times thanks to internal UFS 3.1 storage. The LiquidCool 3.0 cooling system features a 4,860 mm dual VC that can lower high temperatures for optimal starting.
The brand promises a first-class after-sales service that guarantees free screen repairs for the first six months of purchase. The price also includes a two-month YouTube Premium subscription.
Game partners for your smartphone
The main partners of the gaming smartphone are the headphones, which is why the manufacturer also introduced the POCO Buds headphones in collaboration with the popular Genshin Impact. Its design has been redesigned from the start, with self-adapting AI noise reduction and promises up to 28 hours of autonomy.
Its loading and carrying box is inspired by Kleen’s backpack, one of the game’s most popular characters. And as such, announcements are offered in the same voice as the character. The devices are IPX4 certified, waterproof and suitable for use in rain, in addition to sweat and splashes. The carrying case can be charged wirelessly, just like a headset. These can be combined with two fasteners for immediate transition.
Finally, the third product in the series is the smart watch, the POCO Watch. The company promises more than 100 fitness facilities, a heart rate monitor with a capacity of 24 hours and a battery that lasts up to 14 days. A clearly encouraging message to players that they are not neglecting their physical health.
The smart watch has a 1.6-inch AMOLED touch screen that highlights its nearly 100 customizable backgrounds. In addition to monitoring oxygen levels, the smartwatch also monitors the user’s sleep.
The new smartwatch will hit stores soon, and prices have yet to be announced, in three colors: Stealth Black, Knight Silver and Cyber Yellow, as well as two memory configurations, 8/128GB and 12/256GB. The arrival of the smartwatch and headphones is still to be confirmed.
