BiH City Hall promotes D-day vaccination against measles, flu and COVID – Gerais

The city of Belo Horizonte (PBH) is promoting “D-Day” vaccination against measles, flu and COVID-19 this weekend.

According to the agency, on Saturday (April 30), in addition to measles and influenza vaccination, a summary of COVID doses will be provided for all age groups already invited. Vaccinations will be given at 152 health centers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday (May 1), only children aged 5 to 11 years will be vaccinated against the COVID virus. Doses will be given from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the “BH da Genten” facilities in the Central South, Pampulha, Oeste and Northwest regions.

“The measures aim to increase the number of people vaccinated. So far, influenza vaccination coverage is 27.2% and measles protection has reached 9.2% of the target population. The second dose of COVID-19 in children is 35.9 percent, the city said in a statement.
