Vivo has just announced that it will dominate the Chinese market in the first quarter of the year, and if you didn’t know, entry into the Portuguese market will take place on May 2nd, Monday.
Vivo rules China! From the second, the target is Portugal
Therefore, Vivo, which was able to lead the very difficult Chinese smartphone market with a share of 19.7 percent in the first quarter. It is now targeting the Portuguese market, with the great aim of bringing to the market its full range full of innovative technology, while at the same time trying to stand out from everything that has been done in the Portuguese countries.
However, the manufacturer’s first two models are no less than the V23 and Y76, more quality / price-friendly devices, and yet a little far from what enthusiasts really want. But that is the beginning! The brand has already promised “big guns” as well as a serious bet on rival Samsung, Oppo, Xiaom and of course the old Apple.
There is no shortage of capacity in China, a manufacturer established in Dongguan in 1995, which has since grown to 12,000 employees, has 7 research and development centers and can produce about 200 million devices a year.
However, in addition to Portugal, Vivo can already be found in Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, etc … In the old continent, the manufacturer already has about 300 employees and the idea is to increase this number very significantly already in 2022 and 2023.
