Apple will extend the deadline for updating old apps before removing them from the App Store

Almost a week ago, we reported that Apple is significantly expanding the process of removing old / outdated applications App Store.

According to a study by Sensor Tower, about 3,000 products would be removed from the store in one wave. And this, of course, has caused a lot of anger from developers who see no reason / need to upgrade certain old applications that are still working perfectly.

So in response to the criticism, Apple announced last night that it would expand from 30 90 days a time limit for developers to update their applications.

In addition, Apple clarified that it is not enough to remove an app that has not been updated for more than three years. He must also have had little or no Downloads in the last 12 monthsyou will receive such a notification requesting that it be updated.

Again, it should be noted that apps removed from the store will not stop working on the iPhone / iPad on which they are installed. They are just no longer for sale / download to new users.
