Day D against the flu and measles will be vaccinated on Saturday in Rio | Rio de Janeiro

Rio City Hall will be promoting this Saturday (30th). D-day for influenza and measles vaccinations. Health mails are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In total, there will be more than 430 vaccination points between primary health care posts and additional points.

See who should get vaccinated this Saturday:

  • children from 6 months to 4 years
  • 60 years or older
  • Children aged 6 months to 4 years, even if they have already been vaccinated

From Monday (2), the influenza vaccination program will proceed as follows:

  • children from 6 months to 4 years
  • for pregnant and postpartum women
  • Healthcare Workers and Other Priority Groups (50-59 Years)
  • repeat

According to the city’s health agency, 38.9% of the population over the age of 80 have already taken the fourth dose of the vaccine. And 62.7% of the population over the age of 18 were vaccinated with a booster dose.
