The Americana Department of Health vaccinated 1,278 people against the flu this Saturday as it held vaccination day. The Ministry of Health has planned a measure to expand the vaccination coverage of children and the elderly.

In addition to the flu, Day D also affected measles, but in this case, only children and health care professionals received the vaccine.

666 children, 554 elderly people and 58 healthcare professionals were vaccinated against influenza. 693 children and seven healthcare professionals, or a total of 700 people, received the measles vaccine.

Health teams also applied for the Covid-19 vaccine this Saturday. The first dose was given five, the second 31, the third 147 and the fourth 278.

Influenza vaccinations are still available in primary care units during the week without an appointment. It is currently intended for people over the age of 60 and healthcare professionals.
