Oscar Antonio Pérez, 48, was shot in an amateur football game in Yerba Buena, Tucumán, Argentina. He is in hospital in Padilla and has a gunshot wound to his back and his life is still in danger.
The incident happened at half time when the referee was sitting in a chair resting and suddenly he heard a person shouting his name at the fence of the approaching field.
