Xiaomi MIX Fold book-style opening design

The latest Xiaom foldable pictures can be found at #MIUI. What do we know? Not much (except for camera positions and layout – the camera on the top screen in the top center and the rear camera looks square instead of rectangular). pic.twitter.com/C4IkQirMeq

The foldable smartphone segment continues to grow and the brands present in the segment are aware of this growth and are “refreshing” the market with new models. After Huawei unveiled the new Mate Xs 2 and Samsung prepares to launch the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 in August, Xiaomi will bring news to this segment as well.

Little is known about the next Xiaomi fold, but new images have now been posted on the social network Twitter, suggesting that the design of the MIX Fold 2 terminal opens up in the style of a book.

The information comes through Xac Developers member Kacper Skrzypek, who found a new terminal in the source code for the latest versions of the MIUI interface.

From the pictures you will notice that in front of us is a terminal with rounded corners and that there is no opening in the internal display. The external monitor is perforated for the front camera.

In other respects, the leaker only said that the terminal code name is Zizhan.

What we already know about Xiaomi MIX Fold 2

However, some rumors have already revealed other details about the technical details with which the foldable Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 may enter the market.

Depending on the leaking Digital Chat Station, the model may have a flexible LTPO internal display with a resolution of 2K. The well-known leak also developed the fact that both indoor and outdoor displays can have a refresh rate of 120 Hz – a significant upgrade over the previous model with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

On the optical side, the terminal is expected to have a triple rear camera configuration with a primary sensor of 108 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle sensor of 13 megapixels and a telephoto cell with a resolution of eight megapixels. The front has a 20 megapixel camera for selfie and video calling.

Finally, it should run Android 12 with a 5,020 mAh battery, fast-charging support not yet known, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip controllers.
