Alan Wake 2 was made official at The Game Awards 2021 gala, but Remedy has not revealed any other news since. In honor of the franchise celebration, the studio shared new concept images for the sequel on Thursday.
The photographs do not reveal many details other than the surroundings, but the protagonist on the roof of the building walking the streets and talking in the phone booth. However, one of the arts looks like a very gloomy “grandmother.” Check it out below:
In addition, the studio shared a video of just over 13 minutes, where sequel director Sam Lake offered some updates on Alan Wake 2’s production.
According to the law, Alan Wake 2 is developing very well and is in “full production”, and much of it is playable. The developer also confirmed that none of the name will be shown in the June announcements – when the Summer Game Fest 2022 is held.
Everything is going very well with the development of Alan Wake 2. We have full production, we have a lot of material and a good portion of the game is already playable. But we’ve been talking for the last couple of months and we’ve come to the conclusion here in Remedy, along with our fabulous publisher Epic Games, that we’re not showing anything big this summer.
