A Tibetan plane caught fire after exiting a runway in China

An aircraft belonging to Chinese Tibet Airlines exited the runway at Chongqing International Airport in southwest China and caught fire, state television CCTV reported.

The plane was preparing to launch a domestic connection in Chongqing-Lassa, China’s Tibetan provincial capital (southwest), announced the chain.

Chinese news agency Xinhua said some people were injured but did not give a number.
