A Ukrainian soldier died defending metallurgist Azovstal three days after the marriage

Andrii, a member of the National Guard of Ukraine, died three days after marrying his colleague Valery Karpylenko at a ceremony a week ago at the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol, Ukraine, where both were held captive. The replaced rings were made of metal.

Now Valeria has vowed to flee a factory surrounded by Russian troops in honor of her husband and vowed to “live for her.”

Andrew was killed by Russian soldiers as they fought to defend the last Mariupol site, still run by Ukrainian troops.

This Monday, Ukraine announced that all the elderly, women and children who had been sheltered in the factory had been rescued and taken to a safe place.

About 2,000 Ukrainian fighters are believed to be in the factory, which was bombed by the Russians for more than 12 weeks.
