In an interview with Canal 11, Gil Vicente’s coach Ricardo Soares revealed the amount Atlético Madrid had invested in the January contract to hire Samuel Lino. According to the coach of the Barcelos team, the Spaniard paid 6.5 million euros for the 22-year-old striker, and Gil Vicente took 20 per cent of the Brazilian pass. Ricardo Soares added that the big Portuguese clubs were interested in the attacker, but “they arrived late”.
