According to the bulletin, in general, most cases, accounting for 41.2% of the viruses tested, are respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which is basically restricted to young children. Adults have Sars-CoV-2, which causes covid-19, accounting for 37% of all cases.
The study shows that 17 of the 27 federal units show signs of an increase in SARS cases over a long-term trend over the past six weeks: Acre, Alagoas, Amazonas, Amapá, Ceará, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso Grosso, Para, Parana, Rio JanuaryRio Grande do Norte, Rondônia, Roraima, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Tocantins.
In Minas Gerais, there are signs of growth only in the short-term trend of the last three months.
Infogripe also shows that covid-19 is the leading cause of death (81.6% of cases); then RSV (8.5%), influenza A (2.8%) and influenza B (0.7%).
