Epidemiological Bulletin of the Ministry of Health of the State of Minas Gerais (SES / MG), published on Wednesday (11th), confirmed death from dengue fever in Uberlandia. A new study shows that 460 new probable cases were diagnosed in the city in just one week, for a total of 1,869 disease reports.
The city also ruled out a possible Chikungunya infection, according to the report. With the update, Uberlândia will have six possible notifications of the diseasewhich is also transmitted by the mosquito Aedes aegypti.
Earlier this month, Diário reported an increase in probable cases of dengue fever in Uberlândia. According to data collected by SES / MG, the number of municipal notifications peaked at 115% in April-May. The epidemiological bulletin found that on April 5, there were 533 patients in the city who had the disease. Taking surgery 11.5. up, the increase in cases is 250%.
