Portuguese Miguel Oliveira had to withdraw early from the first free practice of the MotoGP French GP after the second crash this Friday morning.

The Almada driver damaged two motorcycles and was even taken to Le Mans medical center, but it was scary. The first collision occurred at turn 10, 17 minutes later, while the second collision occurred at turn 6, seven minutes after the end of the exercise.

It should also be noted that in addition to Oliveira, six other riders went on the asphalt, but all without physical consequences.

In this morning’s session, the Portuguese driver only achieved the 21st best time on lap 133,021s, which improved during the afternoon even though he didn’t get to the table.

Oliveira’s best record was 132,695 s and the Portuguese was 1.547 seconds behind the fastest Enea Bastianin (Ducati) of the day. The Italian was one of the riders who crashed, already making the best time, with a new record on the French track (1m31.148s).

Spain’s Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) was second, 0.202 seconds behind Bastianini, and second Spaniard Alex Rins (Suzuki) was third, 0.297.

There are two more free practice and qualifiers this Saturday that will be split between Q1 and Q2.

Miguel Oliveira achieves the 10th place in the seventh race of the seventh round of the World Championships in motorcycles. Frenchman Fábio Quartararo (Yamaha), world champion, leads the 89th.
