Internet service provider unchanged at 21.5 cents for diesel and 22.5 cents for petrol

Tax rates on the Petroleum Products Tax (ISP) will remain in effect next week, with a tax cut of 21.5 cents per liter for diesel and 22.5 cents per liter for petrol, the Ministry of Finance announced on Friday 13 May.

“Next week, ISP unit prices will remain the same and existing discounts will be maintained”stated in a statement the Ministry overseen by Fernando Medina.

According to the same remark, the reduction in the tax burden on fuel, including the weekly review mechanism of the ISP and the reduction of unit taxes to the 13% VAT rate, will remain at 21.5 cents per liter. for diesel, 22.5 cents per liter for petrol.

The situation will be reassessed on May 20, the government said.
